The Keiser men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Martin Methodist in a neutral site game at Auburn Montgomery on Monday afternoon.

A defensive battle occurred in the first half of play with neither team finding the back of the net. Vinnie Cainth made two saves in goal during the period while the Seahawks fired two shots.

Martin Methodist broke through in the 70th minute with the lone goal of the game winning 1-0.

Adil Lich led the way with two shots, while Jesse Alves, Shane McInerney, Charlie Aversund, and Ben Frogner had one shot apiece. Cainth ended the game with four saves.

With the loss, the Seahawks fall to 0-3-1 overall on the year. Keiser returns to the field on Friday at home against Olivet Nazarene. The kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
