Keiser University men's soccer team held on to defeat Webber International in double overtime 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Jaime Segura slotted home the game winner in the 108th minute off a cross from
Ben Frogner.
Shoval Failer scored the opening goal of the game in fifth minute when he beat the keeper off a through ball from Segura to lead 1-0. Webber International could not break through until a penalty kick was given in the 88th minute and converted tying the game at 1-1.
Both teams attempted ten corner kicks, while the Warriors held a slight 12-10 advantage in shots. Segura led the way with four shots and two on frame, and Failer had three shots and one on target.
Vinnie Cainth made five saves in goal.
With the win, Keiser improves to 3-5-1 overall and 2-0 in Sun Conference play. The Seahawks return to action on Wednesday evening traveling to Southeastern for a 7:00 p.m. match.
