The Seahawks men's tennis team took down Colby College 8-1 on Friday afternoon in Orlando, FL.

Northwood took an early 2-0 lead again after doubles with wins by the number one and two pairs. Alvaro Iturriaga and Rafael Lenz won 8-6 and Martin Martins and David Uquillas were victorious 8-5. The Seahawks went on to sweep all six singles matches.

Lenz led the way with his 6-0, 6-1 number three win, while Ignacio Osse breezed in his number five match 6-2, 6-1. Uquillas and Julian Sarrion both went three sets, each losing the first before winning the next two. Iturriaga won in the first spot with identical 6-1 scores.

Northwood improves to 9-1 overall on the year and return to action tomorrow along with the women when they welcome Southeastern. This is the final home match of the season and will begin at 12:00 p.m.
