The Seahawks men's tennis team defeated Gustavus Adolphus College 6-3 on Friday afternoon. Northwood improves to 2-0 overall on the year.
Alvaro Iturriaga and Nicolas Guerschanik opened up doubles play coming away with 8-4 win before David Uquillas and Rafael Lenz won 8-2 putting Northwood ahead 2-0. The Gusties won the third doubles trimming it 2-1.
Iturriaga won in the first singles spot 6-4, 6-1 and Uquillas took the second spot 6-2, 6-1. Lenz came away with a 6-4, 6-4 victory and Martin Martins had the final win 6-3, 2-6, 10-6. Gustavus Adolphus won the other two singles but fell 6-3.

Northwood returns to court on Saturday at home when they kick off Sun Conference play against SCAD. The match is set for 12:00 and will be played at Gaines Park.
