The Northwood tennis teams shutout Ave Maria on Saturday afternoon in Sun Conference play. The men and women both won by a final score of 9-0.

On the men's side, the number three doubles of Guilherme Cuhna and Ignacio Osse 8-0 win led the way. Osse led the way in number five singles with 6-0, 6-0 wins. Cuhna took his match 6-1, 6-1, while Rafael Lenz and David Uquillas came away with a 6-0 and 6-1 wins.

The women were led by number two doubles of Matilde Thibadult and Rocia Merlo with an 8-0 shutout. In singles play, Thibadult, Merlo, and Livia Toth all won 6-0, 6-0.

With the wins, the men improve to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in Sun Conference play, while the men go to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in conference.

Both teams return to the court on Friday when they travel to Embry-Riddle for a 2:00 match.
