The Keiser University women's basketball kicked off their 2015/16 season with a 72-65 loss to Talladega. Tonight's game, marked the first game for new head coach
Pam Oswald. Also it was the first game under the new rules format where the women will be playing four ten minute quarters instead of two halves.
Game Flow- After falling behind 6-0, Keiser continued battling tying it at 9-9. However, Talladega closed the quarter on a 6-2 run taking a 16-11 advantage.
- The second quarter belonged to the Tornadoes as they outscored the Seahawks 22-9 taking a 38-20 lead into the break.
- Talladega took the largest lead of 51-34 when a Desirai Smith free throw started a 10-0 run getting to within 51-44 with 1:21 left in the third quarter. After trading a few baskets Keiser trailed 56-47 heading into the final quarter.
- The Seahawks outscored their opponents 14-9 trimming the deficit to a possession at 64-61 with 3:36 showing. After a Tornadoes basket, a Smith jumper kept it within three at 66-63 but after that Talladega closed the game on an 8-2 run winning 72-65.
Inside the Box2: Keiser was outrebounded 36-34 during the contest. Winbush and Wall had six apiece.

Courtney Murphy game high (27),
Dominique Winbush (16), and
Desirai Smith (14).

Miah Shephard and Smith both had game high assists.
29: The Seahawks made free throws out 37 attempts.
