The Keiser University men's basketball team breezed by Johnson University 110-47 on Thursday evening. At halftime, the Seahawks held a ring ceremony for their 2015 NAIA women's golf national champions.
Game FlowStefan Zecevic scored seven of Keiser's first nine points giving them a 9-0 lead with 18:03 showing. After a Johnson three pointer, Keiser answered with a 28-3 run extending their advantage out to 41-6 with 7:55 left in the half.
The Suns knocked down a three but again the Seahawks responded with a 14-0 run stretching their lead to 55-9 and went on to take a 58-18 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, with the score 72-27, a pair of free throws by
Brice Jenkins started a 12-3 run capped by a
Tyrus Weaver basket and free throw with 10:03 showing. The Seahawks took their largest lead of the game of 100-35 at the 4:10 mark and went on to win the game 110-47.

Stanley Whittaker recorded a triple double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
