The Seahawks men's soccer team fell to NCAA Division II Defending National Champion Lynn University 3-1 on Thursday evening.
The Fighting Knights struck quickly finding the back of the net less than one minute into game making it 1-0. Lynn extended their lead to 2-0 in the 17th minute of the game.
Ben Frogner and
Jaime Segura each had scoring chances but their shots were saved keeping it 2-0 at the break.
Lynn extended their lead to 3-0 in the 51st minute but the Seahawks got on the board in the 73rd minute.
Emilie Huovinen beat the defense and passed the ball to top of the box where
Shoval Failer beat the keeper making it 3-1. However, Keiser got no closer in the game falling in the contest 3-1.
Seguara led the way with three shots, while Adil IIch had two apiece.
Luke Edgecombe took the loss in goal despite making three saves.
Keiser falls to 5-7-1 overall with the setback. The Seahawks return to the pitch on Wednesday afternoon when they welcome St. Thomas. The kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
