WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Northwood University (Fla.) vollyeball team fell in three sets (13-25, 17-25, 13-25) to host Embry-Riddle on Thursday.
The Lady Sehawks dropped to 11-18 overall and 5-8 in league play while Embry-Riddle improved to 18-9 overall and 12-1 in the conference.
The Lady Seahawks, which defeated Florida Memorial on Senior Day on November 1, were unable to continue the momentum on the road as Embry-Riddle won their eighth straight match.
The Lady Seahawks registered 22 kills and 20 assists in the match, but also committed 18 errors.
Sydney Fish led the squad with six kills and two digs while Veera Hietala added five kills and 11 digs. Nicole Papineau chipped in with 12 assists.
The Lady Seahawks close the regular season at Southeastern(Fla.) on Saturday, November 8 at 5 p.m.
