WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Northwood University(Fla.) men's soccer team dominated from start to finish and cruised past visiting Johnson & Wales University 5-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Seahawks improved to 7-4-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the Sun Conference.

Failer added the next two goals in the second half.

Mark Dawson registered the shutout in net.

The Seahawks had 13 shots and six corner kicks while Johnson & Wales only registered two shots and one corner kick.

"I couldn't be more pleased and it went far better than what we expected," Seahawks men's soccer head coach Joe Zakowicz said. "We were able to get an early goal and add the second one. We continued to play well in the second half. The boys that had to come off the bench and the reserves filled the gaps and it was a tremendous performance by all of them. It was a fantastic win."

The Seahawks men's soccer team will host Embry-Riddle in the regular season finale on Saturday, November 1 at 2 p.m. The Seahawks will recognize 11 players on Senior Day.
