WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Northwood University(Fla.) men's soccer team picked up their fourth win in the Sun Conference as they went on the road and defeated the St. Thomas Bobcats 1-0 on Wednesday.
The Seahawks improved to 6-3-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the Sun Conference.
Vinnie Cainth scored the go-ahead goal for the Seahawks with just more than 11 minutes into the first half. Callum Sinclair was credited with the assist as his pass went to Cainth and he finished with a shot into the back of the net.
Mark Dawson had the shutout in net and made five saves.
The Seahawks had nine shots and six shots on goal while the Bobcats registered 10 shots and five shots on goal.
The Seahawks will look to remain unbeaten for the third consecutive game as they visit Florida Memorial on Monday, October 27 at 6 p.m.
