Jamie Shoemaker enters his ninth year at Keiser University and fifth year as the Associate Athletic Director. Shoemaker started at Keiser in January 2016 as the Assistant Athletic Director, and was promoted to Associate AD in October 2019.

2024-2025 season- The Seahawks claimed it's fifth Sun Conference Commissioner's Cup while finishing second in the Learfield Cup standings. KU won four NAIA National Championships (Men's Swimming & Diving, Women's Swimming & Diving, Men's Tennis and Men's Lacrosse) and captured 13 individual and eight relay NAIA Championships (Men's Swimming & Diving and Women's Swimming & Diving). Keiser won eight conference regular season titles and eight conference tournament championships. 19 teams made the NAIA National Tournament, with 19 teams ranked nationally at the end of the year. Additionally, 159 Seahawks received Academic All-Conference honors and 132 earned NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition.
2023-2024 season- The Seahawks finished in the top-5 of the Learfield Cup standings with a third place finish, won four NAIA National Championships (Football, Women's Swimming, Women's Golf, and Men's Lacrosse),claimed 11 conference championships, captured eight individual and six relay NAIA Championships (men's swimming, women's swimming, and women's golf), 12 teams made the NAIA National Tournament, including 11 teams ranked nationally at the end of the year. In addition, 151 Seahawks received Academic All-Conference honors and 129 earned NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition.
2022-2023 season - Keiser University claimed its fourth SUN Commissioner’s Cup, finished third in the Learfield Cup standings, won three NAIA National Championships (Men's Swimming, Women's Swimming, and Men's Lacrosse), nine conference championships, captured 17 individual and eight relay NAIA Championships (men's swimming, women's swimming, and indoor track & field), 17 teams make the NAIA National Tournament, including 13 teams ranked nationally at the end of the year. In the classroom, 142 Seahawks received Academic All-Conference honors and 115 earned NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition.
2021-2022 season- The Seahawks finished second in the Learfield Cup standings, winning four NAIA National Championships (Men's Soccer, Men's Golf, Men's Swimming, and Women's Swimming), nine conference championships, captured 17 individual and eight relay NAIA Championships (men's golf, swimming, and indoor track & field), 17 teams make the NAIA National Tournament, including 12 teams ranked nationally at the end of the year. In addition, 140 Seahawks received Academic All-Conference honors and earned approximately 144 NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition.
2020-2021 season- Keiser University captured its first ever Learfield Directors’ Cup Championship and added three National Championships (women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, women’s golf), raising the program total to 11. The Seahawks had 12 teams appear in national tournaments with seven advancing to the final four. KU brought home seven SUN Tournament Championships and six SUN Regular Season Championships. Keiser had 120 All-Conference athletes, 91 NAIA All-Americans, and 13 teams ranked in the final NAIA Top 25 poll. In the classroom, the department had an overall GPA of a 3.00 with 115 Academic All-Conference athletes, 76 NAIA Scholar Athletes, and 14 NAIA Scholar teams.
2019-20 season – Keiser University won two NAIA National Championships (women’s soccer, men’s swimming) raising the program total to eight, captured 10 individual and six relay NAIA National Championships, claimed eight conference championships, two tournament championships, and six teams appeared in the national tournament. In the classroom, 118 athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors and 63 were named NAIA Scholar Athletes. The season was cut short in the spring due to CoVID 19.
2018-2019 season- The Seahawks finished fourth for the second straight year in the Learfield Cup standings, win eight conference championships, claimed a sixth NAIA National Championship (men’s swimming), captured nine individual and seven relay NAIA Championships (swimming and indoor track & field), 11 teams make the NAIA National Tournament, including nine teams ranked nationally at the end of the year. In addition, 74 Seahawks received Academic All-Conference honors and 34 earn NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition.
2017-2018 season- Keiser University captured its third consecutive TSC Commissioner’s Cup, finished fourth in the Learfield Cup standings, announced the addition of men’s wrestling, competed in its inaugural football season (6-4 record and a top 25 ranking during the season), won a fifth NAIA National Title (men’s swimming), captured seven individual and four relay NAIA individual National Championships (swimming and indoor track and field), and had 14 teams make a NAIA National Tournament appearance, including seven teams that finished ranked nationally in the top five or higher.
2016-2017 season- Keiser University captured its second consecutive TSC Commissioner’s Cup, secured the highest finish in the Learfield Cup standings in program history (#3), added four NAIA Varsity sports (men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s swimming, women’s swimming), and had 12 teams make a NAIA National Tournament appearance, including five teams that finished ranked nationally in the top 5 or higher. In addition, Swogger was named the TSC Athletic Director of the Year.
2015-2016 season- Keiser University captured its first-ever TSC Commissioner’s Cup Trophy, its fourth NAIA National Title (women’s golf), secured a top 25 finish in the Learfield Cup standings (#22), and had nine teams make a NAIA National Tournament appearance.
In addition to his duties at Keiser, Shoemaker serves as the Commissioner of the Sun Coast Swimming Conference.
Prior to Keiser, Shoemaker served as the Director of Athletics at Salem International in West Virginia from 2013 to 2016. During his time, Shoemaker added eight new sports while overseeing a first-year program in volleyball.
In addition to his duties at Salem, Shoemaker was a member of the Ethics and Eligibility Committee for the G-MAC Conference and the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee for baseball.
Before being promoted to Athletic Director, Shoemaker was the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Facilities Management. He helped prepare the report to become a member of the G-MAC conference. In addition, he managed the schedules for all athletic facilities, while improving the athletic facilities.
Shoemaker started at Salem as the Sports Information Director in 2008. In his role, he led the communications efforts for 14 sports, writing articles for the athletics website, which he also designed and launched.
Shoemaker founded Through the Fence Sports Cooperation in 2011 and serves as the President and CEO. Through the Fence Baseball (TTFB) was inducted and hand-picked into Google News within months of the launch and currently has over 1.6 million users and 3.5 million page views since its launch.
TTFB primarily delivers Major League Baseball news, rumors, fantasy analysis, prospect watches and unique insight from fans and established writers from across America. Stories have been picked up by sites like Sportingnews, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Washington Post, Yellow Pages, ESPN, MLB.com and more than 1,400 sites have linked to TTFB since its launch.
Shoemaker has previously worked with DVSport from 2010-2012. In this role, he worked with vendors and clients to ensure every product was delivered that was agreed upon. He also served as a game day instant replay administrator for the Big East, MAC, Big 10, BCS bowl games, FCS football games and various other NCAA Division I events.
Shoemaker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Master’s degree in International Business from Salem University.
Shoemaker currently resides in West Palm Beach with his wife Jordan and son Alex.
