Ryan Garcia joined the Keiser staff inn January of 2021.In his current role, Garcia serves as the primary communications contact for the Keiser men's basketball, women’s soccer, wrestling, women's lacrosse, men's and women's swimming and diving and men’s and women's tennis programs. On January 29, 2024, Garcia was promoted from his role as assistant sports information director to head sports information director. He originally began as a sports information coordinator and on March 29, 2022, he was promoted to assistant sports information director.
He is responsible for the day-to-day promotion of the his programs through social media, KUSeahawks.com, and traditional media outlets, along with the update of statistics and records for his assigned sports. Garcia plays a heavy role in the digital strategy efforts for both programs, which include creating content for the website and social media.
Prior to joining the staff at Keiser, Garcia worked as the Sports Information Director at ASA-Miami, where he was responsible for the day-to-day promotion and record keeping of all 13 Silver Storm sports. Garcia has also served as a statistician for the University of Miami, the Miami Heat and numerous South Florida programs.
Garcia graduated from Xavier University in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and is an alumnus of Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida.
