Gibson joins the Keiser University wrestling staff ahead of the 2024-25 season as a volunteer assistant coach.

Pre-Keiser
Gibson comes to Keiser from Life University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant Wrestling Coach after a decorated collegiate career with the Running Eagles. During his time on the mat, Gibson was ranked in the top 10 nationally at 197 pounds in 2023, captured the Life University Open Championship in 2023, and was a finalist at the Missouri Valley Invitational in 2024.

A key contributor to one of the NAIA’s premier programs, Gibson was part of Life University’s 2021 NAIA National Championship team and helped the Running Eagles earn back-to-back runner-up finishes at the NAIA National Championships in 2022 and 2023. He was also a member of the 2024 NAIA National Dual Championship team and contributed to three National Duals runner-up finishes (2020, 2022, 2023).

Personal
A native of Kingsland, Georgia, Gibson earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Psychology from Life University. In addition to his coaching credentials, he is a Certified Positive Psychology Coach, emphasizing a holistic and growth-focused approach to athlete development.
