Jamene Caldwell enters her sixth year at Keiser and third as the assistant AD for compliance & facilities/senior woman leader. She was the director of compliance & game day operations in her previous role.

She came to Keiser University from the University of Southwest (USW), in Hobbs, New Mexico, where she served as the assistant athletic director for compliance services and business operations.

Caldwell began the role at USW in March of 2018 and was responsible for maintaining and administrating a comprehensive athletic compliance program for the Mustangs. Among other duties, Caldwell was tasked with completing the department's Academic Summary Report, monitoring and overseeing all athletic compliance records for institutional, conference, and NAIA review, and coordinating initial and ongoing eligibility certification with the Office of the Registrar and the faculty athletics representative, and maintaining a business operations policy and procedures manual.

For the four years prior to her appointment to the compliance position at USW, Caldwell was the head women's basketball coach at the institution. She also has eight years of coaching experience at NCAA Division I Sam Houston State University, where she worked as both an assistant coach (2006-2009) and recruiting coordinator (2009-2014).

Caldwell earned her bachelor's degree in political science with a criminal justice minor from the University of South Alabama in 2002. While at USA, she competed on the women's basketball team for four years.

Following her undergraduate, Caldwell went on to obtain a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology with a minor in computing science and administration from Sam Houston State University.
