Dr. Lorenda Beuker

Dr. Lorenda Beuker is a former Team Canada goaltender and NCAA Division I coach at Princeton and St. Lawrence University, bringing elite competitive experience together with applied sport psychology. She has worked with athletes and teams at the NCAA, NHL, USHL, NAHL, and USA Hockey levels, and is a keynote speaker on topics including emotional intelligence (USA Hockey), leveraging narcissism for leadership (The Coaches Site), mindfulness (NHL, Florida Panthers), and elite performance (NCAA Hockey Coaches).

She developed Beuker’s Athlete Mindset Performance Training (B-AMPT) and the Present Body Awareness workshop series, both designed for in-competition application. Over the past three years, her approach has been implemented across multiple Keiser University teams with measurable results, including improved coping skills, resilience, and team cohesion. Coaches have reported stronger leadership, greater mental readiness, and improved communication among athletes.

Her work also extends beyond campus, partnering with sports organizations and community programs to share Keiser’s leadership in athlete development through practical, efficient tools athletes can use immediately.
