Joe Bertolone

Joe Bertolone enters his second year as the Head Coach of the Keiser University wrestling team. Bertolone was named the first-ever head coach in February of 2018.

Pre-Keiser
Bertolone has over 40 years of experience at the high school level, with stops at Archbishop McCarthy, Miramar, Cardinal Gibbons, Monsignor Pace, and Chaminade. Bertolone has been named a Coach of the Year on four occasions, twice by the Holly SunTattler (1982/1983), once by the Ft. Lauderdale News in 1982, and the Sun Sentinel & Miami Herald in 2010. For his coaching achievements, Bertolone was inducted into the Broward County Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2015.

Playing Career
Bertolone won back-to-back NCAA DIII titles in the heavyweight class at John Carroll University in 1974 and 1975. Bertolone has been inducted into three Hall of Fame’s including; Johnson Carroll University (1985), the NCAA Division III (1996), and the Florida Chapter (2012).
