Pre-Keiser
Prior to Keiser, Boyd spent one season as a Graduate Assistant at Wayland Baptist University. He was tasked with overseeing the academic progress and tutoring of the team while creating workout cycles and competition strategies.
 
Running Career
Boyd enjoyed tremendous success on the track at Wayland Baptist, helping the squad win the 2018 NAIA Indoor National Championship. He was an 11-time NAIA All-American, one-time National Champion in the triple jump, and was named the Newcomer Athlete of the Year in 2016-17.
 
Personal
Boyd graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2019 with Bachelor’s of Applied Science with a Justice Administration specialization.
