Chelsea Nowell enters her second season as the Head Softball Coach.

In her first season, Nowell matched the win total from the previous year, while coaching her shortstop to All-Conference honors. The team endured their best stretch of the season winning six consecutive games.

A collegiate player at Navarro College in Texas, Nowell was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection, along with All-Region designations, earning Second Team status as a freshman and First Team status as a sophomore. Following her sophomore campaign, Nowell was an NJCAA Third Team All-American.

Chelsea graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a bachelor’s degree in Education. Chelsea is married to Seahawks assistant baseball coach Teddy Nowell, and they have a daughter Kaydn (5).
