Coghlan’s Corner
  • Coghlan is entering his fourth year as the Seahawks Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach
  • Assisted the men’s team to back-to-back NAIA National Championships (2018-19)
  • Helped the women's squad finish as the runner-up finish at nationals in 2019
  • Coached 15 NAIA individual National Champions on the men’s side including; a team-best seven by Lukas Macek. In addition, the men have nine relay National Championships
  • The men have claimed two NAIA Swimmer of the Year awards and two NAIA Swim of the Meet honors
  • The women have one NAIA individual National Champion and two relay National Championships
  • In 2019, the men and women claimed the Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championship
  • In three years, Keiser has 191 All-Conference swimmers on the men’s side and 127 on the women’s side. In addition, the men have 98 All-Americans and 58 for the women
Pre-Keiser
Coghlan comes from Club Wolverine in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he helped coach one of the most successful programs in the state. He was also an Assistant Coach at West Florida Lightning Aquatics.
 
Playing Career
Coghlan began his collegiate swimming career at Florida Atlantic University, where he earned MVP and Most Improved honors as a freshman. He then transferred to Eastern Michigan University for his final three years. While competing for EMU, he earned two team Mid-American Conference Championships and one individual title.
 
Personal
Coghlan graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Social Science. Coghlan resides in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Megan.
