Adam Epstein

Adam Epstein enters his 10th year as the Head Coach of the Keiser University Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams. Epstein was named the first coach at Keiser in June of 2016. Epstein has led the men to six NAIA National Championships and the women to four NAIA National Championships.

  • Led the men’s team to six NAIA National Championships (2018-19-20-22-23-25)
  • Guided the women’s squad to four consecutive National Championships (2022-23-24-25)
  • Coached 50 NAIA Individual National Champions on the men’s side with Lukas Macek and Marcel Nagy leading the way with eight apiece. In addition, the men have 26 Relay National Titles
  • The men have had seven NAIA Swimmer of the Year awards and six NAIA Swim of the Meet honors, while the women have won two NAIA Swimmer of the Year, and two NAIA Swim of the Meet honors
  • The women have 22 NAIA Individual National Championships and 21 Relay National Championships
  • Epstein has been named the NAIA Coach of the Year on five occasions for the men and three times for the women

  • In nine years, Keiser has 200 All-Conference individual honors on the men’s side and 215 on the women’s side.

2025
  • The women claimed their fourth straight NAIA National Championship
  • The men won their sixth NAIA National Championship
  • Named the NAIA Coach of the Year for the men for the fifth time
  • The women finished with 45 NAIA All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, four relay national championship teams, and two individual national championships
  • On the men's side, the team grabbed 46 NAIA All-Americans, four relay All-American teams, four relay national championship teams, and 11 individual national championships
  • Isaiah Alekenko garnered NAIA Swimmer of the Year
  • Juan Gonzalez was named NAIA Diver of the Year
  • Noel de Geus and Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen earned the NAIA Swim of the Meet honors
  • Both men and women were ranked No. 1 all season
  • Men and women won SUN Conference Tournament
  • At the conference tournament, Isaiah Aleksenko was named SUN Swimmer of the Year and Juan Gonzalez was named SUN Diver of the Year

2024
  • The women claimed their third straight NAIA National Championship
  • The men finished as runner-up at the NAIA National Championship
  • Named the NAIA Coach of the Year for the women for the fourth time
  • The women wrapped up the three-peat with 44 NAIA All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, four relay national championship teams, and three individual national championships
  • On the men's side, the team grabbed 45 NAIA All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, two relay national championship teams, and four individual national championships
  • Noel de Geus was named NAIA Swimmer of the Year and took home Swim of the Meet honors
  • Both men and women were ranked No. 1 all season
  • Men and women won SUN Conference Tournament
  • Epstein was named both men's and women's conference Coach of the Year

2023
  • The men claimed their fifth straight NAIA National Championship
  • The women claimed their second straight NAIA National Championship

  • The women concluded the championship with 48 individual All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, five Relay National Championships teams, and eight Individual National Champions
  • At the national meet, the men notched 47 individual All-Americans, five relay All-American teams, three Relay National Championships, and eight Individual National Championships
  • Alberto Garcia Marcos was named NAIA Swimmer of the Year

  • On the women's side, Camryn Hudson was named NAIA Swimmer of the Year

2022
  • The men claimed their fourth straight NAIA National Championship
  • The women claimed their first NAIA National Championship
  • Named the NAIA Coach of the Year for both men and women.
  • The men concluded the championship with 30 individual All-Americans, four All-American relay teams, four Relay National Championship teams, and seven Individual National Champions
  • At the national meet, the women had 33 individual All-Americans, five All-American relay teams, four National Championship relay teams, and seven Individual National Champions
  • The women were ranked No. 1 for the first time in program history
  • Alberto Garcia Marcos and Marine Lecomte were named the NAIA Swimmers of the Year
  • Both squads finished second in the Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championships
  • Epstein was named both men's and women's conference Coach of the Year
  • In conference, the men set five new conference records while the women four new conference records

2021
  • The men and women were ranked No. 1 during the entire season
  • The NAIA National Championship was canceled due to COVID-19
  • Boasted 22 NAIA All-Americans on the men’s side and 17 on the women’s
  • Each team won their mid-season championship at the Asbury Invite
  • Both teams went 1-1 in duals meets
 
2020
  • The men claimed their third straight NAIA National Championship
  • The women finished as the runner-up for the second straight year at the NAIA National Championship
  • Named the Palm Beach County Coach of the Year
  • The men concluded the championship with 30 individual All-Americans, five All-American relay teams, four Relay National Championship teams, and eight Individual National Champions
  • At the national meet, the women had 25 individual All-Americans, five All-American relay teams, two National Championship relay teams, and two Individual National Champions
  • Epstein was named the NAIA Coach of the Year for a second straight season
  • The women were ranked No. 1 for the first-time in program history
  • Marcel Nagy was named the NAIA Swimmer of the Year for a second straight season
  • Both squads claimed their second straight Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championships
  • On the men’s side at conference, Epstein and Lukas Macek were named the Coach and Swimmer of the Year
  • For the women at conference, Epstein and Anna Herbst were named the Coach and Swimmer of the Year
  • In conference, the women set 13 new conference records and placed first in 17-of-18 events while the men went perfect throughout the meet going 5-for-5 in relays and 13-for-13 in individual races
  • Out of the pool, five men and two women garnered NAIA Scholar Athlete honors
 
2019
  • The men were ranked No. 1 during the entire season for a second straight year while claiming back-to-back National Championships
  • The women were ranked second in the NAIA for the majority of the season before finishing second at the national meet
  • At the national meet, the men had 20 individual All-Americans, five All-American relay teams, and 13 national championships
  • For the women at nationals, the Seahawks had 14 individual All-Americans, five All-American relay teams, and three national championships
  • Epstein was named the NAIA Coach of the Year for the men and women along with Coach of the Year recognition for the conference
  • Both squads claimed the Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championships with Lukas Macek and Annamaria Zombai earning Swimmer of the Year awards
  • The men were perfect at the conference meet, going 5-for-5 in relays and 13-for-13 in individual races
  • At conference, the women won all five relays and ten of the 13 individual championships
 
2018
  • The men were ranked No. 1 during the entire season and went on to claim the NAIA National Championship while the women came in fifth
  • Macek earned NAIA Swimmer of the Meet and Swim of the Meet
  • Guided both the men’s and women’s teams to second place finishes at the Sun Coast Swimming Conference Championship
  • On the men’s side, Epstein coached 18 individual NAIA All-Americans and had four relay teams earn All-American status. For the women, four individuals garnered All-American recognition and five relay teams took home All-American awards
  • At the conference meet, the men garnered 47 All-Conference awards and the women had 34 All-Conference honorees
  • Named the Men's Coach of the Year for the Sun Coast Swimming Conference
 
2017
  • Named the NAIA Coach of the Year for the men in their inaugural season
  • Coached the men's team to a ranking of No. 2 in the NAIA Coaches poll
  • Had seven men’s swimmers earn NAIA All-American honors and one women garner All-American recognition
  • Led the inaugural men’s team to a third place finish at the Appalachian Swimming Conference meet and NAIA National meet
 
International Coaching
In 2017, Epstein was appointed the Head Coach of the Team USA delegation for the 20th World Maccabiah Games. At the games, the squad brought back 17 gold, 15 silver, and nine bronze medals. The team also broke 13-meet records in the process. His first opportunity came in 2013 as the Head Junior Coach of the 19th World Maccabiah Games.
 
Pre-Keiser
Prior to Keiser, Epstein served as the Assistant Coach at Indian River State College, helping the teams continue their national win streaks with 42 straight national titles on the men's side, and 38 national titles on the women's side. Throughout his tenure, the teams broke 51 NJCAA national records.
 
Swimming Career
Epstein was a four-year letter winner for the Florida Atlantic University Owls, as well as the team captain his senior year. Outside of the pool, he was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was a recipient of the Athletic Department's Community Service Award, and Spirit Award.
 
Personal
Epstein graduated from FAU with Bachelor's degrees in Public Communication, Sociology, and Social Sciences in 2009. He went on to obtain his Master’s in Communications from FAU. Epstein resides in Royal Palm Beach with his wife Nicole and two kids, Aiden and Olivia.
