October Fan Guidelines

The Keiser University Athletic Department has announced guidelines for home games during the month of October and will release monthly updates as the department continues to monitor developments around the COVID-19 virus.  The guidelines are meant to establish fan expectations in preparation for the 2020-21 season.

For the month of October 2020, all Keiser University Athletic home events/games will remain closed to the general public.  We have a limited number of seats available for Keiser Flagship students, Keiser Flagship faculty/staff, and we will allow a limited number of immediate family members of participating Keiser University student-athletes to attend home events.  All events require a ticket for admission, and tickets will be distributed at least one day prior to the date of the event as tickets will not be available for pickup or sale at the event.  This policy applies to all home games from October 7th-October 31st but is subject to change based on game/conference protocols.   Fan capacity is still limited to allow for social distancing and due to capacity guidelines, some events are already sold out.

Please check our athletic website (www.kuseahawks.com) and social media pages for updates regarding fan attendance.

The guidelines below are focused on safety measures for student-athletes and others in direct contact with student-athletes in all sports, and must be follow for all games:

  • All fans will be required to purchase a ticket online and must show a photo ID to enter any athletic venue.
  • Face coverings required upon entering all athletic venues, and in any area where proper social distancing may not occur (hallways, bathrooms, etc.)
  • Physical distancing required in athletic venues
  • Every other row and staggered seats will allow for six feet apart per fan, and will be marked with a sticker

  • Restrooms cleaned more frequently during duration of games/matches by on-site housekeeper or other designated staff
  • Tailgating is not permitted for home football games
  • At conclusion of game, all students and staff (non-essential) must exit the facility immediately.  Teams will remain on the field/court until fans are away from locker rooms/team exits
