No. 5 versus No. 12

No. 5 seed - Football - Shea Spencer, the Semifinals Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game, used his legs to bring Keiser back from 12-point deficit with a 41-yard touchdown run to start the fourth quarter. The score – his third rushing TD of the game – gave Keiser the 22-21 lead. Keiser went on to defeat the College of Idaho, 36-27, and advance to its fourth straight NAIA National Championship Game.

No. 12 seed - Women's Basketball - Aly Avrach etched her name into the Keiser record books on January 3, draining a school-record nine three-pointers en route to a career-high 28 points in the Seahawks' commanding 85-27 victory over New College of Florida. She connected on 9-of-13 from beyond the arc and remarkably outscored the entire New College team by herself, finishing with 28 points to the Mighty Banyans collective 27. She earned Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for her performance.
