The No. 11 Keiser men's soccer team battled back from two separate deficits on Wednesday afternoon, playing to a 3-3 draw with New College of Florida at NCF Bayfront.
Mohammed Mouzoune got the Seahawks on the board just two minutes in, converting a pass from Juan Terrasa for the game's opening goal. New College answered with a penalty kick goal from Cameron Johnson in the 27th minute to level the match, then took its first lead of the day in the 38th minute when Juan Gomez-Cuetara found the net. Keiser responded almost immediately, as Xabi Souto tied it back up a minute later in the 39th minute off an assist from Keanu Does, sending the match into halftime level at 2-2. Souto struck again in the 65th minute, this time unassisted, to put Keiser back in front, but New College equalized for good in the 75th minute when Cameron Johnson scored his second of the day, assisted by Gomez-Cuetara, to make it 3-3. Neither side found a winner the rest of the way.
