No. 2 Women's Golf

No. 2 Women’s Golf Travels to Ypsilanti, Michigan, for the 31st Annual NAIA National Championship

The No. 2-ranked Keiser women's golf team travels to Ypsilanti, Michigan, for the 31st Annual Women's Golf National Championship (May 13-16). The four-day, four-round event will take place at the Eagle Crest Golf Club (Par 72, 5,895 yards) and will feature 21 teams ranked in the final NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll (May 7). The Seahawks will be making their 15th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. 
 
The Seahawks are coming off second-place finish at the Sun Conference Championship (April 21). Keiser posted a three-round total of 902 (+38) at The Fountains Country Club.

Leading the way for Keiser was Sophia Sindersberger, who delivered an outstanding championship performance to finish second individually at 220 (+4). With rounds of 72, 76, and 72, Sindersberger earned First Team All-Conference honors and capped a consistent  season as one of the league's top performers.

Keiser placed multiple golfers among the conference's top finishers, highlighted by first-team all-conference and SUN Freshman of the Year Herry Ji and second-team selection Luz Maria Ardila, who each tied for sixth at 228 (+12). 

Linda Stamm, a second-team honoree, added another strong showing, tying for 10th overall at 233 (+17) while Faye Wheatley rounded out the lineup with a tie for 15th at 237 (+21).

The Seahawks also saw Aoli Liu (all-conference second team) compete as an individual, turning in an impressive eighth-place finish at 230 (+14), further emphasizing the program's depth across the roster.

With the second-place finish,Keiser has finished in the top three in each of the last 12 championship tournaments.

Sindersberger posted her fourth top-5 finish of the season and eighth top-10 result of the 2025-26 campaign with a second-place result at the Sun Conference Championship (April 21). Ardila recorded her sixth top-10 finish of the season at the Sun Conference Championship (April 21). She enters the week with an adjusted scoring average of 74.5 and is ranked No. 23 in the nation (clippd)

4. Linda Stamm - Gr. / Heiligenhaus, Germany
Stamm has produced four top-10 finishes this season. The native of Heiligenhaus, Germany, has registered an adjusted stroke average of 75.3. She is currently ranked No. 27 in the nation (clippd)

5. Faye Wheatley - Jr. / Newcastle, England
Wheatley has made seven appearances for the Seahawks this season, including three results in the top 10. She comes into this week's action with an adjusted scoring average of 75.3 and ranks No. 26 in the nation (clippd)
