No. 5 Keiser women's lacrosse dominated the second half Thursday evening, dismantling Warner with a 15-0 scoreline in the final two quarters. The 20-2 final extended Keiser's winning streak to six games and pushed the program to 11-2 on the season.

Both teams traded possession through the early going as Samantha Crowther picked up a few early saves for the Seahawks. E'Mya Miller found the back of the net at 7:07 to give the Royals an early advantage. Keiser responded with three straight scores in less than a minute of game time. Jia Schweigert picked up a missed shot and fed Reese Lynch to tie the game at 1-1. Moments later, Isabelle Vrensen fed a wide-open Schweigert who went low to beat the Warner goalie and give the Seahawks a lead they wouldn't lose for the remainder of the game. Keiser won the ensuing possession and a foul on Emily McCall gave her a free-position shot that she bounced in to put Keiser up 3-1 with just under six minutes to play. Neither team would convert for the remainder of the quarter as both defenses settled in.

Kate Griffin scored on a free-position attempt at 12:04 and after that the scoring took a backseat to the action. The next goal was scored at the 3:29 mark by the Royals as they cut the lead to 4-2. Emily Ferris scored the final goal of the half with 1:43 remaining as Keiser took a 5-2 advantage into the break.

The story of the season has been the success of the Seahawks in the third quarter and once again, it was apparent on Thursday night. Tess Geiger scored the first of the period with 13:47 showing, converting the free-position chance. Kate Griffin won the ensuing draw and the ball would find its way back to her when Baylee Walker fed Griffin on the cut who scored to make it 7-2. Just over 60 seconds later, Schweigert picked up a loose ball in front of net and scored to make it 8-2. The onslaught continued as Gibaud fed Geiger cutting across net who ripped in a goal that extended the lead to seven. Schweigert then intercepted a pass deep in the Warner zone that was intended for the goalie and proceeded to score, forcing a timeout by the Royals. The timeout slowed down the Seahawks but did not stop them as Milena Isturiz got involved in the scoring, powering through the defense to net her first with 6:33 on the clock. Keiser squeezed every ounce out of the remainder of the third as Gibaud and McCall each scored before the end of the quarter to extend the Keiser lead to 11 going into the fourth.

With the clock running, Keiser stepped on the gas with each possession beginning with Gibaud passing up her free-position chance to find McCall for the first of the fourth quarter. Schweigert capitalized on a woman-up chance at 11:29 for her fourth goal of the game before Gibaud converted a free-position goal at 9:31, and Reese Lynch found the net at 8:04. Emily Pond came in to relieve Crowther in net but all of the action was on the other side of the field. Ferris scored at 4:52, Vrensen found the net at 3:37 before Griffin closed out the scoring on a woman-up goal at 1:15.

Keiser returns home for a top-5 matchup on Saturday against No. 3 SCAD Savannah. The opening draw control from the Multi-Purpose Field is set for 4:00 p.m.
