Keiser University's men's golf team delivered an impressive wire‑to‑wire performance at The Battle at Laughlin Ranch in Bullhead City, Arizona, securing first place with a total score of 879 (+15).
The No. 1-ranked Seahawks posted rounds of 293 (+5), 295 (+7), and 291 (+3), pulling away from both Hastings and Texas Wesleyan, who tied for second at 885 (+21).
Keiser's depth proved to be its greatest asset, with four players finishing inside the top 22 and all five scoring golfers placing inside the top third of the field. Leading the way were Matus Cedzo, Michael Conti, and Yann Ferrando, who all tied for 16th at 222 (+6). Cedzo produced a steady even‑par second round, while Conti surged on the final day with a three‑under 69—one of Keiser's best individual rounds of the tournament. Ferrando opened strong with a 69 of his own before battling tougher conditions in the following rounds. Jack Peters added a solid performance with a 223 (+7), highlighted by an even‑par opening round, and Iver Sokhan‑Sanj closed well with a 73 (+1) in the final round to finish at 226 (+10). The collective consistency of the lineup allowed Keiser to build and maintain a lead that ultimately secured the championship, reinforcing their position as the top NAIA program in the country.
With the win, Keiser has posted a top-5 finish in 14Â straight events, dating back to last year.
