The No. 1 Keiser University women's swimming & diving sits in third place following the first day of the Sun Conference Championships. The Seahawks grabbed a pair of wins and set meet records in both wins.

- Santiago swam the fastest 500 Free this season for KU and nearly had a personal best with a time of 5:02.93
- Janiszewska and Bogi Zsunics went 2-3 in the 50 Free for the Seahawks with both touching under 24 seconds
- In the 1-Meter Dive, Valero broke her own school record and set a new meet record with a total of 273.65 points
- Janiszewska, Santiago, Bersi, and Bradley closed out the night with a new meet record of 7:27.15 in the 800 Free Relay, besting the previous record by seven seconds

The Seahawks return to the pool tomorrow with preliminary heats in the morning and the finals for eight events in the evening, starting at 5:00 p.m.
