The No. 2 Keiser University women's golf team finished second at the Jupiter Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday, posting a three-round total of 851 (+11) at Jonathans Landing Country Club, two strokes behind team champion Eastern Florida State (849, +9).
Keiser opened the tournament with a team score of 280 (even par) in the first round, the best round of the event, and added a 282 (+2) in the second to lead after 36 holes. Eastern Florida State shot a tournament-best 276 (-4) in the second round and closed with a 284, while Keiser finished with a 289 (+9) in the final round. Palm Beach State College placed third at 868 (+28), followed by Ave Maria (928) and Coastal Georgia (944).
Herry Ji led the Seahawks with a third-place finish at 209 (-1). Ji carded rounds of 71, 68 and 70, and was one of only three players in the field to finish under par. It marked the seventh Top-5 finish of her Keiser career.
Sophia Sindersberger placed fourth at 211 (+1) after rounds of 71, 70 and 70, never shooting worse than par after the opening round. The finish was the ninth Top-5 of her Keiser career.
Hannah Guerin tied for sixth at 213 (+3) for the first Top-10 finish of her career. She opened the tournament with a 65 (-5), matching the lowest round of the event, before posting a 71 and a 77.
Judy Lin tied for 13th at 221 (+11) with rounds of 73, 73 and 75, and Aoli Liu placed 16th at 224 (+14).
