No. 1 Keiser University women's swimming team opened the season with a fifth-place finish at the TYR Fall Classic hosted by Florida International University. The Seahawks finished with 854 points in a field of six teams, including NCAA Division I.

- This was the second time the FIU TYR Fall Classic was held at the Doral Central Park Aquatic Center
- Kate Vorontsova had Keiser's best individual finish, taking fourth in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:05.49
- National Champion Alanis Santiago placed fifth in the 200 Free and sixth in the 100 Free
- The Seahawks had many debuts, including freshmen and transfers
- Graduate student Emilia Hellak made her Keiser debut with a sixth-place finish in the 500 Free
- Entering her senior year, Zselyke Papp placed sixth in the 100 Fly and swam three of Keiser's A relays
- All four Keiser A relays placed sixth
- In diving, newcomer Hana Mesaric placed sixth in the 3-meter with 169.75 points
The Seahawks return to the pool on Saturday, October 10, when they travel to Fort Myers, Fla., for a dual meet against FGCU. The meet will take place at the FGCU Aquatics Center.
