The Keiser Seahawks men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw on the road against Thomas University on Thursday afternoon in Thomasville, Georgia. After conceding an early penalty, the Seahawks responded with a second-half equalizer from senior forward
Francis Bolland, who was making his first appearance of the season, to extend their unbeaten start to the 2025 campaign.
The Night Hawks struck first just six minutes in, converting a penalty through Ethan Moore. Despite controlling possession and generating 14 shots (11 on target), the Seahawks trailed 1-0 at halftime. Persistence paid off in the 75th minute when
Keanu Does delivered a clever touch inside the box from a free kick to Leon Sy Birgersson, who found Bolland in front of goal. The senior forward poked the ball with his right foot just out of the keeper's reach to level the match. Keiser continued to press, forcing Thomas keeper Damien Fortin into 10 saves, but neither side could break through in the closing stages. The result moves Keiser to 2-0-1 overall, while Thomas sits at 3-1-1.
