The No. 2-ranked Keiser women's golf team registered their 10th top-5 finish in the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship with a second-place finish on Friday. The Seahawks shot a 41-over, 1,193 as Keiser placed in the top 2 of the national tournament for the third straight year. Keiser finished behind No.1 British Columbia, which shot a 17-over, 1169, to claim this year's Red Banner.
Keiser was led by senior Carolin Alblas, who posted a career-best finish at the NAIA Tournament, placing tied for fifth. Alblas, shot a 3-over, 291, for the 16th top-5 finish of her career. The native of Nuess, Germany, carded a hole-in-one on the sixth hole during Round Three. Also, finishing in the top 10 were Sophia Sindersberger and Mohea Mansbendel. Sindersberger place seventh with a 5-over, 293, for her seventh top-10 finish of the season while Mansbendel finished tied for eighth with an 8-over, 296, posting a top-10 finish for the sixth time this season. For their play, Alblas, Sindersberger, and Mansbendel were named to the NAIA All-Tournament Team.
