On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2025 CSC All-District Team in men's tennis. Keiser had two of honorees on the team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team, selected by the CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC All-District team is separately recognized the honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Yassir Kilani and
Shaheed Alam were recognized as Academic District honorees. The Seahawks will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where the first, second and third teams will be chosen.
Yassir Kilani, Fourth Year, Rabat, Morocco
- Earned a 3.75 GPA in sport management and operations
- Named Sun Conference Player of the Year
- Achieved a highest ranking of 20th in singles and 14th in doubles
- 13-3 singles record this season with a 7-0 record on court one
- He currently has the third-most singles wins in program history at 69, the seventh-most doubles wins with 50, and 119 total wins which ranks fourth-most at Keiser all time
Shaheed Alam, Second Year, Singapore
- Attained a 3.96 GPA in business administration
- Currently ranked No. 3 in the ITA in singles
- Holds a 19-2 overall record in singles this season
- In doubles, he is 11-4 with a 10-3 record on court three in the spring
- His 62 singles wins ranks sixth most in program history while 55 doubles wins currently ranks tied for fourth
