(rv) Keiser softball reached new heights today with a doubleheader sweep of Webber International. The Seahawks took down the Warriors 6-2 in the first game, and 5-2 in the second game. With the three-game sweep, Keiser has notched a program record 35 wins this season.

Pitchers of Record: W: Miller (5-1) L: Hoskins (1-2)
- Maggie Miller pitched the first six innings, striking out three batters en route to her fifth win of the season (79 pitches)
- Lizzy Small pitched the final inning in relief (11 pitches)

With Keiser trailing 1-0 in the fourth,
Macy Schaaf grabbed an RBI with a sac-fly, and
Claire Czajkowski later scored on a WIU error to give the Seahawks a lead they would hold for the rest of the game.

- The Warriors landed the first blow when they scored on a Keiser error

- Iglesias dropped an RBI single into centerfield to bring home Kelsey Ganci
- Lizzy Small brought Dunham and Faith Campos home with a 2 RBI fielder's choice
- Czajkowski grabbed another RBI with a fielder's choice that scored Iglesias

- The Warriors plated their last run of the game on an RBI double to right field

- Mackenzie Masternak picked up her 15th win of the season, striking out four batters in a complete game (112 pitches)

After Webber tied the game in the fourth inning, the Seahawks scored four runs to surge into the lead in the top of the fifth.

- The Warriors hit an RBI single up the middle to tie the game

- Kelsey Ganci ignited a Seahawks scoring run with an RBI single that scored Macy Schaaf
- Genesis Iglesias kept things going with an RBI single that brought home Bridget Dunham
- Lizzy Small crushed an RBI double to centerfield that allowed Iglesias to score from first base
- Small later scored Keiser's final run of the series when she crossed home plate on a Warrior error
KU 5, WIU 1
- Webber International was able to score a late run on an RBI single, but the Seahawks closed out the series with their 17th double play of the season

The Seahawks will be in Lake Wales, Fla. on the campus of Warner University next weekend for their final regular season series of 2025. First pitch of game one is set for 5:00 p.m. onn April 25.
