Just over eight hours after it began, No. 4 Keiser men's tennis claimed a 4-1 victory over No. 11 SCAD Savannah on Saturday night. The Seahawks took the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Keiser maintained control in singles, winning early on courts four and five before the match was finished on court one.
- Felipe Rivadeneira continued his hot streak of play with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court five
- The Bees got a point back on court three with No. 59 Jaupart defeating Tamar, 6-4, 6-0
- Keiser responded with a win on court four as No. 12 Liljekvist topped Fernandez 7-5, 6-1
- Kilani would finish it for KU on court one, winning 6-7(3), 6-2, 6-2 over No. 41 Tryankshin
- When the match was clinched, Noha De Sousa Pereira was up 6-2, 5-5 on court six while No. 5 Alam was in a third set with No. 18 Ozernoy
When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Robert McAdoo had this to say: "The guys stepped up today. I challenged them all week, in every aspect. Mentally, emotionally, and physically, and they responded. I expect nothing less moving forward!"Â
