Keiser softball fell in two games today to Indiana Tech. The Seahawks came up short in extra innings in game one and fell 4-2 in game two. Keiser is now 18-6 overall in 2025. 


Keiser Seahawks 6, Indiana Tech Warriors 8
Pitchers of Record: W: Bravo (5-2), L: Masternak (11-3)

• Mackenzie Masternak started the game and logged three strikeouts (94 pitches)

• Claire Czajkowski went 2-4 with 2 RBI
• Macy Schaaf stole a base

• The Seahawks were hampered by a slow start and were unable to secure the victory in extra innings

KU 0, IT 1

• The Warriors plated the first run of the day with an RBI double

KU 2, IT 1

• Claire Czajkowski whacked a two-run homer over the left field wall to score Genesis Iglesias and give Keiser the lead

KU 2, IT 2

• Indiana Tech tied the game with an RBI single to centerfield

KU 2, IT 6

• After Keiser narrowly missed a chance to walk off the game in the bottom of the seventh, TECH took the lead on an RBI single
• The Warriors added to their lead with a three-run homer to left field

KU 4, IT 6

• Clawing to get back into the game, the Seahawks got a run across home plate when Kelsey Ganci scored Trinity Rohrer with an RBI single
• Faith Campos hit an RBI single to bring home Lanie Macicek
• Despite the rally, the Seahawks were unable to tie the game, and TECH came away with the win

Keiser Seahawks 2, Indiana Tech Warriors 4
Pitchers of Record: W: Walter (2-3), L: Small (4-4)

• Lizzy Small started the game and struck out one batter (61 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched the final two innings in relief and struck out two batters while preventing any runs from being scored (26 pitches)

• Macy Schaaf went 2-3
• Faith Campos walked twice and stole a base

• Keiser yielded 10 hits to the Warriors and committed three errors, failing to keep pace with TECH on the scoreboard

KU 1, IT 0

• Indiana Tech took the early lead with an RBI single

• Keiser tied the game when a dropped fly ball allowed Bridget Dunham to score

KU 1, IT 2

• Indiana Tech went back in front on an RBI double

KU 2, IT 2 

• Faith Campos stole second, and raced home on a fielder's choice and ducked under the throw to tie the game

KU 2, IT 4

• The Warriors took the lead for good with a pair of RBI singles

The Seahawks will play a road series this weekend against New College of Florida. First pitch of game one is set for 2:00 p.m. Friday in Sarasota, Fla.
