Keiser softball is now 12-4 on the season after picking up two wins today. The Seahawks were able to overpower Bethel (Ind.) 8-2, and walk off Spring Arbor 2-1. The Seahawks have won seven of their last eight games.

- Anne Melle got the second win of her Keiser career, striking out one batter. (42 pitches)
- Lizzy Small pitched the final 3.1 innings, picking up three strikeouts. (60 pitches)
- The Seahawks jumped out to a 6-0 lead, and piled up 10 hits to fly away from the Pilots.

- The Pilots scored one run on a Keiser fielding error, and another on a foulout to the outfield

- Keiser battled all the way in a defensive struggle, and walked off the game in the seventh inning

- The Cougars got a lead-off double, and a single in the following at-bat
- A Keiser throwing error on a stolen base allowed Spring Arbor to tie the game, and create some seventh inning drama

- With two outs on the board for Keiser, the game seemed destined for extra innings
- However, a Cougar fielding error gave KU new life
- Faith Campos kept the line moving with a single, and later stole second base
- Genesis Iglesias whacked a single up the middle, allowing Kelsey Ganci to score and walk off the game

The Seahawks will return to Viera this Monday, facing Huntington (Ind.) at 2:30 p.m. and No. 10 Marian at 4:45 p.m.
