No. 3 Keiser men's tennis wasted no time getting through their opponents on Thursday afternoon, defeating Division II Lynn 4-0. The Seahawks rolled through doubles with wins on courts one and three. Singles would not last much longer with the top three courts going to KU in straight sets and the bottom three hardly able to get started.
- A return of Didrik Liljekvist and Heber Santos was a welcome site as the pair defeated Davide Cortimiglia and Lennart Ostheimer 6-0 on court one
- Shaheed Alam played with Gilad Tamar this time with the duo taking down Aaron Brandenburger and Daniel Azar 6-1 on court three
- The score was knotted at 4-4 on court two when the point was clinched
- Moving up a spot in the lineup, No. 20 Yassir Kilani won his match on court two 6-1, 6-3
- No. 3 Alam followed up with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court two
- On court three, Tamar would wrap up his match with a 7-6(1), 6-2 win to clinch the match for the Seahawks
- Courts three and four had just gotten started due to court availability, with court six not starting at all
When asked about the match, Head Coach
Robert McAdoo had this to say:Â "Good doubles and good singles today!"
Keiser will be off for a week before facing Palm Beach Atlantic just a few miles from home in West Palm Beach on Thursday, February 20, at 2:00 p.m.
