The Keiser men's golf team placed fifth overall at the Citrus Intercollegiate, hosted at the ChampionsGate Golf Club (International Course). The Seahawks posted rounds of 295 (+7), 293 (+5), and 287 (-1) to finish with a team total of 875 (+11).
Yann Ferrando led the way for Keiser, finishing fourth individually at seven-under-par (209). Ferrando fired rounds of 72 (E), 68 (-4), and 69 (-3), closing with back-to-back sub-70 efforts to secure his top-five finish.
Matus Cedzo turned in a strong performance, tying for 11th overall at even par (216) after carding rounds of 70 (-2), 74 (+2), and 72 (E).
Iver Sokhan-Sanj followed in a tie for 45th at +10 (226) with scores of 80 (+8), 74 (+2), and 72 (E), while Hyunhee Jang tied for 47th at +11 (227) after posting rounds of 75 (+3), 77 (+5), and 75 (+3).
Rounding out Keiser's lineup, Jack Peters tied for 54th at +13 (229) with rounds of 78 (+6), 77 (+5), and 74 (+2).
Florida Southern claimed the team title at 850 (-14), while Barry's Eduardo Matarazzo took medalist honors at 203 (-13).
With the fifth-place finish, Keiser has posted a top-5 finish in 11Â straight events, dating back to last year.
