The No. 1-ranked Keiser women's golf team opened the 2024-25 season the same way last year ended ... with a win. The Seahawks earned the first win of the season, topping the team leaderboard with a 46-over, 886, at the 2024 Seahawk Shootout. Keiser took the top spot in an 11-team field, claiming the team title by 12 strokes over NCAA Division II opponent Palm Beach Atlantic (+58).
Senior Carolin Alblas earned medalist honors, shooting a 4-over, 214 (72-75-67). The win was the first of her career. She also carded a hole-in-one during the opening round on hole No. 11. With the victory, Alblas has now tallied nine top-5 finishes in her Keiser career. Also, placing in the top 10 was newcomer Sophia Sindersberger, who shot a 14-over, 224.
