Isac Wallin was named the 2024 NAIA Jack Nicklaus Award presented by Workday recipient on Monday. The Nicklaus Award recognizes the national player of the year at the Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA levels.
Wallin, along with Jackson Koivun of Auburn University, Leandro Mihaich of Oklahoma Christian University, Jackson Klutznick of Emory University, and Grant Greazel of Kirkwood Community College, were recognized as the top golfers in their respective divisions.
The native of Kungsangen, Sweden, becomes the second Seahawk to win the award (
Jakob Stavang Stubhaug - 2022).

- Named to the All-Sun Conference Team for the fourth straight year
- A four-time Sun Conference Golfer of the Week this season
- Named the SwingU NAIA Golfer of the Month (February)
- Garnered NAIA Golfer of the Week (March 13)
- Appeared in 10 events for the Seahawks for a total of 29 rounds
- Posted nine top-10 finishes, including seven in the top 5.
- Claimed four medalist honors during the 2023-24 season
- Ranked No. 1 by clippd (adjusted scoring average - 69.9)
Nicklaus, a Big Ten and NCAA Champion at Ohio State, helped inspire and create the Jack Nicklaus Award in 1988. The award is now presented to the National Player of the Year in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and NJCAA. Other winners of the Nicklaus Award include Tiger Woods (1996), Phil Mickelson (1990-92), David Duval (1993), Justin Leonard (1994), Stewart Cink (1995), Justin Thomas (2012), and Jon Rahm (2016) among many others.
