No. 1 Women's Swimming & Diving Takes 5th at the TYR Fall Classic

No. 1 Keiser University women's swimming team claimed a fifth-place finish at the TYR Fall Classic hosted by Florida International University. Keiser was one of two NAIA programs in the field of NCAA schools.

Keiser will hit the road on Thursday, October 10 for a dual meet with Rollins College at 1:00 PM in Winter Park, Fla.

Keiser took home a fourth-place finish to begin day one with Marine Lecomte, Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen, Luiza Bersi, and Ines Laurent putting in a time of 3:52.05 in the 400 Yard Medley Relay
Over at the dive well, AC Taylor registered a score of 187.25 points in the 1 Meter competition to place fourth
Bersi was back in the water for the 100 Yard Butterfly where she took first with a 55.40 time, less than a second from the school record
Kate Vorontsova swam in the B-Heat for KU and also registered a time of 55.40
Biltoft-Jensen continued her busy day with a fourth-place finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke at 1:05.44
The Seahawks ended day one with the 200 Yard Frestyle Relay with Laurent, Aubrey Bach, Bersi, and Danai Sofoulis taking sixth with a time of 1:37.35
Day two began with the 200 Yard Medley Relay with Lecomte, Biltoft-Jensen, Bersi, and Laurent taking sixth place with a time of 1:47.87
Rachel Bradley followed with a sixth-place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle clocked at 5:16.21
Laurent took fifth in the 100 Yard Freestyle, touching at 53.41
Bersi went back for her final individual event, the 200 Yard Butterfly where she finished second with a time of 2:06.92
Bradley finished her day with the 200 Yard IM where she finished fifth with a time of 2:12.97
The final event of the meet was the 400 Yard Freestyle where Bersi, Bach, Laurent, and Soufilis took fifth with a time of 3:36.92
In diving, Taylor finished her meet with a fifth-place performance in the 3 Meter at 170.20 points
