No. 1 Women's Swimming and Diving Upends Division II Rollins, 168-99

No. 1 Keiser University women's swimming and diving picked up their first dual-meet win of the season on Wednesday when they defeated Division II Rollins College 168-99 at the Alfond Swimming Pool in Winter Park, Fla.
 

Meet Notes
  • Keiser won 10 individual events and one relay
  • The Seahawks opened the meet with a second and third-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with Marine Lecomte, Kate Vorontsova, Zselyke Papp, and Ines Laurent finishing at 1:48.45
  • KU swept the 1000 Free with Rachel Bradley taking the top spot at 10:47.30
  • Luiza Bersi followed with a win in the 200 Free, touching at 1:56.10
  • In the 100 Back, Lecomte and Seranski took second and third with times of 1:01.01 and 1:01.17, respectively
  • After that, Biltoft-Jensen jumped in and took the win in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:05.14
  • In the 50 Free, Laurent topped her season-best time with a mark of 24.45, and taking the win in the event
  • KU kept the momentum going into the 100 Free, taking first and second place courtesy of Danai Sofoulis (55.17) and Kate Vorontsova (55.37)
  • Bradley picked up her second win of the day in the 200 Back, touching the wall at 2:07.08
  • In the 200 Breast, Billtoft-Jensen took home another win at 2:24.71, just in front of Ella DiScala who finished at 2:27.94
  • The Seahawks won again in the 500 Free as Lecomte chased down the swimmer next to her and out-touched her at the wall with a time of 5:18.00
  • Bersi and Laurent put on a show in the 200 Fly with Bersi touching first at 55.79 followed closely by Laurent at 57.51
  • After a quick break, Bersi was back in the water for the 200 IM where she held off Bradly for the win with a time of 2:09.23
  • Keiser wrapped up the day with a win in the 200 Free Relay with the A-team of Vorontsova, Papp, Laurent, and Sofoulis finishing at 1:38.74

Up Next

Keiser will be back in action Wednesday, November 6th at 1:30 PM when they travel to Fort Pierce, Fla. to face NCAA Divison II Florida Tech University and Indian State River College.
