"Definitely the start we wanted today in doubles. That gave us a good cushion and momentum to carry into singles." said Head Coach,Â
Daniel Finn, "Yes, singles was a bit up and down, but for the most part, the boys did a good job of locking in on the big points when needed. It's a long season and this is by far the toughest schedule I think I've ever put together. Every week is another top-ranked team nationally staring the boys in the face and they have responded. With that kind of schedule, you're going to have those ups and downs in matches mentally, but all in all, they did a great job today of controlling what they could control. The crowd at Flagler is always impactful and they feed off of it, but the boys did a good job today of not letting it bother them and being focused when it mattered to get a good road win. Flagler doesn't lose often at home and for us to walk in and grab a win like this says a lot about the boys. As always now we need to recover and get ready for next week."
The Seahawks will have six days off before coming back home to face No. 13 Ave Maria on Friday, April 14 in Boca Raton, Fla.
