No. 1 Keiser men's tennis started the day off by finishing their match with No. 14 Coastal Georgia, 20 hours after it began, winning 4-0.

  • No. 27 El Mesbahi was the lone finisher on the first day, winning 6-0, 6-0.
  • Court three followed with No. 18 Cantero winning 6-1, 6-2 to bring the match score to 3-0.
  • Liljekvist clinched the match on court one, defeating Landaluce 6-4, 6-0.
  • Keiser was up on all of the remaining courts when the match was clinched.

A few hours later, the boys were back on the courts for the Sun Conference Tournament Championship, facing No. 6 Southeastern. The Seahawks battled throughout the match, defeating the Fire 4-1 and claiming their seventh straight Sun Conference Men's Tennis Title.


doubles
  • No. 15 Yassir Kilani and Soufiane El Mesbahi started off the match with a loud 6-2 win on court two over No. 14 Federico Barbon and Victor Olivera.
  • The momentum quickly carried to court three where Shaheed Alam and Martin Carrizo clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win.
  • Court one doubles was tied at 4-4 when the doubles point was clinched.

singles
  • No. 18 Cantero was done first on court three, winning 6-0, 6-1 to make it 2-0 in favor of the Seahawks.
  • Court six would follow with No. 27 El Mesbahi winning 6-2, 6-1 to bring Keiser to one match short of victory.
  • Following an SEU win on court one, No. 6 Alam clinched it on court two with a 6-4, 6-3 win.
  • Both court four and five were in the third set when the match was clinched with the Seahawks holding a slight advantage on each.

Keiser will have a couple of weeks off before traveling to Mobile, Ala. for the NAIA National Championship being held on May 16-20.
