Gould and Woodruff Earn Second Place Finishes as Wrestling Competes at Pepsi Patriot Open

Keiser wrestling opened their season with the Pepsi Patriot Open on Saturday in Corbin, Kentucky. Patrick Gould and Nick Woodruff shared the top results of the day with both advancing to the final of their respective weight classes.


Top Performers
  • Patrick Gould secured a second-place finish at the open with a 4-1 record on the day.
  • Nick Woodruff needed just two wins to make the final at 197 pounds.
  • Joseph Gallo dropped his first match but picked up three wins in the consolation bracket to go 3-2 on the day.
  • Riley Stevens had a solid day at 125 pounds going 2-2.
  • Woodruff, Dylan Kamps, and Cole Velardi all picked up their first career wins as members of the Seahawks.
