Wrestling Wraps Up Weekend in Georgia at Life U Open

Following their dual in Marietta, Keiser wrestling headed to Powder Springs, Ga. for the Life U Open. Nick Woodruff led the Seahawks on the day with a 5-0 record that put him in the first-place match at 197 pounds.

  • Woodruff is now 7-2 on the year with a 7-1 record in tournament matches.
  • He now leads the team with three wins by fall and is tied for the team lead in tech falls with two.
  • August Batson, Erik Borresen, Marquese Carter, Josh Gallo, and Gabriel Leach all earned their first wins of the season.
  • The brothers Josh and Joseph Gallo combined for a 5-4 record at the open.
