The No. 16-ranked Keiser men's soccer team took care of business on the road at Ave Maria Saturday night with a 1-0 win over the Gyrenes. The only goal of the night came from Mikael Baisotti off a pass from Gabi Villafane.

.How it Happened
  • The match began with back-to-back fouls being called on the Gyrenes and Seahawks.
  • Mikael Baisotti fired the first shot of the night saved by Ave Maria's keeper.
  • In the 26th minute, Baisotti went on to find the back of the net for the Seahawks to take the 1-0 lead. Gabi Villafane recorded the assist for his fifth of the season.
  • Keiser went on to fire seven shots in the first half including three off the boot of Baisotti.
  • Jack Casey would fire three corner kicks for the opportunity for the Seahawks to extend their lead to no avail.
  • Santiago Nebot recorded his first save of the night just before the first half ended.
  • As the second half got started, Nebot saved his second shot of the night from the Gyrenes.
  • In the 65th minute, Ave Maria's Andre Betioli was dealt a yellow card.
  • After a foul was called on Keiser in the 67th minute, Ave Maria was awarded a penalty kick where Edwin Parraga's shot would land wide of the net keeping the Seahawks' lead intact. 
  • In the last five minutes, Ave Maria was dealt their second yellow card of the night to  Blake Joseph.
  • The 85th minute was the last action of the match when Casey took his last corner kick.
  • The match ended with a foul called on Keiser.
