No. 9 men's soccer's 2022 season came to an end in Winona Lake, Indiana. The Seahawks were eliminated by the No. 4 Seeded Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson after the result of a penalty kick shootout. Keiser finishes the season with a 13-1-3 record.

.How it Happened
  • In under five minutes of the match, Lindsey Wilson was called offside twice.
  • The first shot of the game came off the foot of Ian Garnero which was blocked by the Blue Raiders defense.
  • In the 24th minute, the Blue Raiders put themselves on the board to take the 1-0 lead.
  • Keiser did not stay quiet for long as Lucas Jacobs scored with the help of Garnero after his shot hit the cross bar. 
  • The remainder of the first half would remain quiet for both squads though, two fouls were called on Keiser. 
  • A total of six shots were fired in the second half of play, three for each squad. 
  • Once overtime began, possession went back and forth between the two teams. Only a total of three shots were taken in the 10 minute period.
  • Double overtime only featured three shots, two coming from Lindsey Wilson where the two teams headed to penalty kicks to determine which team would advance.
  • Eight Seahawks stepped up to the line for their shot. Garnero, Lucas Jacobs, Alejandro Varela Sabio, Nikolas Cam Orellana, Alexander Stéen all found the back of the net.
  • Lindsey Wilson's final attempt punched the Blue Raider's ticket, sending them to the final site of the tournament.

  • With today's tie, the Seahawks fall to 4-3-1 in the Second Round of the tournament.  
  • Rui Reis finishes his impressive freshman campaign with 14 goals and nine assists being the team leader in both categories. 
  • Jacobs ends his senior season with nine goals along with teammate Stéen.
  • Adrian Camacho Castro finishes his Seahawk career with a total of 96 points, the fourth-most in Keiser history.
  • Four different Seahawks notched six assists this season, Jack Casey, Gabi Villafane, Nikolas Cam Orellana and Jacobs.
  • Rodgrio Montez Silva recorded the most time on the pitch with a total of 1404 minutes.
  • Santiago Nebot Oliver finishes his season with a 13-1-3 record.
  • The Seahawks totaled 68 goals this season and racked up a grand total of 194 points.
  • This is the second consecutive tie with Lindsey Wilson after only facing them twice. 
  • Head Coach Gavin Oldham notched his 75th career win at Keiser and led his squad to the 2022 SUN Championships.
