"Certainly not an easy day to play tennis, at least not for what we're used to," said Head Coach,Â
Daniel Finn, "With way below normal temperatures and high winds, it's certainly tough to play your best. Thought the boys did a good job of finding ways to control themselves and win the big points that mattered today. We have a long way to go to get to where we want to be and it starts with the energy we bring during the matches, but today was a good place to start. Happy to get a win on a tough day and start looking towards a really tough week ahead. Opening the season with five matches in eight days is no easy task so we will go right back to work getting ready for Tuesday."

The Seahawks will travel to Daytona Beach, Florida, for a match with Embry-Riddle on Feb. 1.
